besides abdul, the others seem to know very little about Quebec... Quebec is the name of a city and a province of Canada... where the majority speaks French... a couple of years ago, Yahoo used to have English Canada & French Canada... but about a year and a half ago, French Canada Yahoo became Quebec Yahoo... which I did not like very much for I am French Canadian, originally from Ontario, the neighbouring province to the West of Quebec...

Ottawa is the capital of Canada, Toronto the capital of Ontario and Quebec City the capital of the Province of Quebec... there are 8 more provinces in Canada, of which New-Brunswick is biligual (about half English/half French)... and three territories...

to be able to find the province, look at a map of Northern America and check straight north from NYC... you'll find Montreal, the major city in the Province of Quebec... which borders the state of Vermont, New-Hamshire and Maine...

hello, Quebec is not a country but a province of Canada, that's why there is Toronto a province of Canada english speaking and Quebec is french speaking.

I want to take this opportunity to correct your english, people(s) don't take s if you address to the population but if you say that the people's (property) takes ( S). as well you don't say i has curious but i am curious. i prefer you speak french since this is french section.
